Susan Nedorost, MD, is an associate professor of dermatology and environmental health sciences at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is director of the dermatology residency program at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Dr. Nedorost received her MD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to complete a medical internship and residency in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

In 2010, Dr. Nedorost co-founded an inter-disciplinary eczema clinic at University Hospitals Case Medical Center that incorporates collaborative care planning with 7 providers in 5 specialties including allergists, dermatologists, a dietician, a clinical nurse specialist, and a psychologist. Her research interest include: understanding the interaction between the environment and the immune system, identification of allergens that cause contact dermatitis, the effect of fabrics and occlusion on the skin in atopic and normal subjects, and the irritant and allergic potential of components of personal care products.

Dr. Nedorost has received numerous awards and serves on the committee of many hospital and professional societies. In 2011 she was again nominated as one of America’s Best Doctors, and she is president-elect of the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
