Privacy Policy

NetWellness is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. Information gathered electronically by NetWellness is used solely to help improve the site. NetWellness developers may share or publish summarized user data, but never share personal information that users may provide us. NetWellness is the sole collector of all use information.

What information do our servers collect?

Our web servers automatically collect:

domain name from which you access the Internet
the Internet address of the web site from which you linked to NetWellness
the page(s) accessed
the date and time
the words you searched
your browser type and version
your operating system
None of this data is personal.

Do we collect personal information?

No. We do not obtain information that will allow us to personally identify you when you visit NetWellness, unless you provide such information to us. We do not collect the e-mail addresses of users who submit questions to Ask an Expert or complete user surveys. Some users give us their e-mail addresses in those messages. We delete addresses from questions before answering them. We use addresses in surveys only to respond to users if they request a response. We allow users to give us their e-mail address when submitting feedback messages so that we can send a personal response. We do not collect or share those addresses in any way. Zip code and/or country of residence collection is used for summaries only and is not linked to any individual user.

How do we use the information we collect?

NetWellness does not give, share, sell, trade or rent personal information about its users. The Internet IP address information is summarized and used to count the number of visitors to our site and to determine the general sources of traffic. We use e-mail addresses voluntarily provided by visitors to respond to feedback and survey forms.

What about web sites to which NetWellness links?

NetWellness links to other health web sites which are evaluated for quality. However, NetWellness privacy policy does not apply to these sites.

Does NetWellness allow information to be collected by third-parties?

No. NetWellness does not allow user information to be collected by any other party.

Does NetWellness use "cookies" to collect user information?

No. NetWellness does not use cookies.

Does NetWellness collect personal data from self assessment tools like the Body Mass Index?

No. We do not match such data with personal information.

What does NetWellness do with survey results?

We occasionally ask for feedback through an online survey. The results are strictly anonymous. No personal identification information is collected, and the data is reviewed for trends and general information only.

Does NetWellness profile and track users?

No. We do not profile or track individual users.
