Baking soda

05/02/2006

Question:

Is baking soda good for your teeth and does it really whiten them?

Answer:

Baking soda will not harm your teeth.  It is a little more abrasive and will remove some light staining due to coffee or tea.  It doesn't "whiten" teeth other than removing light stains.
