Blood Blister on Tongue05/05/2011 |
I was eating potato chips a few days ago and must have scraped my tongue or something and then a blood blister quickly developed (within seconds). I popped it with a sterilized pin because it was so big and uncomfortable and now I have a sore that looks like an ulcer where the loose skin remained after popping it. It hurts so bad to chew, swallow, talk, anything that causes my tongue to scrape my teeth on the side. This has happened before but it seems it is in such a bad spot that will never heal. Is there anything I can do to help it heal fast?
Try not to irritate/ aggravate it any more. You might apply any over the counter oral ointment/moisturizer/lubricant like orabase as directed.
