regarding treatment of ankle sprain

Question:

sir i sprained my ankle and 65 hours have passed... i want to recover as soon as possible...i am continuously applying ice packs to the injured area for around 15-20 mins every 1-2 hours....i have elevated the leg about 6-7 inches above the heart level...i am taking serratiopeptidase as advised by the doctor...i don`t move...taking complete rest...sir what additional can i start to get well faster..like cold water hot water therapy, or some exercise or anything else..?

Thank you for visiting NetWellness. Typically grade 1 ankle sprains take 2-4 weeks to heal. If you CAN NOT walk on your ankle you should go to your family physician to get an x-ray to make certain that you haven’t broken a bone.

If the x-ray is negative, you are doing all the right treatment to help yourself get better. The medication you are referring to is not used in the United States commonly. I have no knowledge or experience with this medication. I’m sorry, but I am therefore not qualified to make any statements regarding its use.
